Dear reader, I use coloring pages to trick my kids into reading poetry, and it works. I have been doing this for a few months, and now I have inspired a bilingual poet to do the same. In this post, I share 2 of his Spanish poems.
Queridos lectores, uso las páginas para colorear para conseguir que mis niños lean poesía. A ellos les gusta y siempre leen el poema al menos dos veces. Agora he inspirado a un poeta bilingüe a hacer lo mismo y aquí conparto dos de sus poemas infantiles.

Dear parent of a child who is bilingual or studying Spanish, help your child read and introduce them to Spanish poetry with these amazing children poems with coloring pages.
I tried this trick with my kids, and they love it, and they read the poems at least twice when on a coloring page.
More children poetry and coloring pages in our Facebook group. However, this group is not for children content. It’s a poetry group where we share all kinds of poetry, including children poems.

Attention! Help a child discover poetry with these coloring pages.
My children colored the first two poetry coloring pages available since last night. Today, we have more thanks to the wonderful poet, Profe Steve.
Yesterday, by chance, I had written a fantasy-themed poem, “Dragons,” and it was perfect for the kids. The older ones loved the poem, and they also loved the beautiful unicorn poem by Steve Waldrop.
You can use these if you or your children are learning English.
There are several in Spanish in the album, and more will be added in the future.

Por casualidad ayer había escrito un poema de un tema de fantasía “Dragons” y fué perfecto para los niños. A las grandes les encantó el poema y también les encantó el bello poema de Steve Waldrop del unicornio.
Estos puedes usarlos si tú o tus niños están aprendiendo Inglés.
Hay varios en Español en el álbum y habrán más en el futuro.

I made these on Canva with my daughte Lilli in mind. She will be inspired by the cute characters and it’ll be easier to create a story about them.
