Journaling Page: Decorated Notebook Page and Journaling Prompts for children

Dear reader,

I could not resist the urge to decorate a notebook page! I created this on Canva with the help of my daughter, Lilli. Lilli assured me she was more willing to write on the decorated notebook page than a normal one.

My goal is to make my kids’ learning interesting and fun so I do not have to force them to learn. My goal is to inspire them to be lifelong learners.

I have a friend who was really big into journaling for a while (she eventually donated all her journaling materials to a hospital or something like that for the patients). Her trick was making her journals appealing and cute. She put a lot of effort into the design and look of her journal, paying close attention to the colors, matching them to the season, adding stickers, and more.

How can we make a list interesting for children?

To make lists interesting for children, incorporating a surprise element can spark their imagination and curiosity. Here are some ways to make journaling with lists more engaging and magical:

Journal Page and Children Journaling Exercises

Dear reader,

I created this journal page to be cute to catch my children attention right away.

We all know that young children will not read a book without pictures. I remember loving to read and starting and not finishing at least three times a more serious non picture book that my mom loved with a young feel but too boring for my child mind.

I am all about disguising the learning in a pretty and fun package because those are the things that children love.

I created these with my daughter, and this is why I know that they will work, she assisted and assured me that she would rather write on these than on the “boring” normal lined paper.
